Details about CityView membership are below. My review is here. Full disclosure: I’m currently a member and couldn’t be happier (well, unless they provided me complimentary limousine service). I have played at many of the other clubs in NYC and right now CV fits me the best.

I recently heard that CityView has extended their offer to Printing House members through the end of December. So essentially, if you sign up now, you’ll have the month of January free. Details from John Musto, the director of Squash at CityView are below. I attended the recent Open House; here is my review of the club.
letter from John Musto, CityView Squash director
Dear Printing House Squash Player:
I was saddened to hear that the Printing House has closed. As someone who played at the club hundreds of times and trained for the pro tour there in the early 90’s under the tutelage of then-pro Anders Wahlsdedt, I too will feel the void.
I recently announced my new role as Director of Squash at CityView Racquet Club (www.cityviewracquet.com). If you are not familiar with CityView, I am sure you will be impressed. For squash members, CityView offers three first-rate international singles courts and a beautiful doubles court. All are glass back with solid walls and nice, high ceilings. In addition, all members have access to a fully-equipped fitness facility, spa with massage services, steam and sauna, a cocktail lounge and outdoor deck with incredible views of Manhattan. Getting to CityView is a lot easier than even I thought, just across the East River off the 7 local line (33rd/Rawson stop).
I am pleased to announce the following special deal which I have been able to arrange for current Printing House members only.
· Free membership, including court fees, through January 31, 2011
· No initiation fee upon enrollment
· $140 monthly membership fee beginning February, 2011 which includes unlimited court time
· Accommodation for all league teams, including payment of league dues, upon enrollment
· Free 30-minute private lesson/assessment upon enrollment with John Musto
· One free CityView Squash shirt upon enrollment
If you are interested in this offer or if you have any questions, please contact CityView’s membership director, Christina Lenahan, by e-mail at Christina@cityviewracquet.com or at 718.389.6252. Of course, you can always reach me at jmusto@cityviewracquet.com or 718.389.6252.
Best of luck with your squash.
John Musto
Director of Squash, CityView Racquet Club
